Hot and steamy

This weekend was distinctly warm, and the moths were loving it! A total of nine new species for the year over two trapping sessions, the gap is closing.

Hot and cold

One warm night, one not so warm night. The 9th was ace - lots of moths,
and quite a few new species for the year - best being Dingy Shears,
Brown-line Bright Eye, Wormwood Pug, Dwarf Cream Wave, and a Brown-tail
(wonder how common they are going to get this year?). The 10th was wet
and a bit chilly with numbers down with nothing of any real note.

Woke up to a very soggy moth trap. However, it was also full of moths!
