There still hasn't been much chance to stick the trap out recently.  This chap brightened up my day though.  I think it's Esperia sulphurella and it was hanging around our woodpile (formerly a rustic wooden bench).

Pining for a moth

As the number of recent posts suggest, mothing of late has been rubb-ish. Thursday's attempts in Potton resulted in a epic haul of three moths (two for myself and one for Will). Fortunately for me one was a pine beauty - a new one for my trap and for the competition I think. Apologies for the pot-shot. It was 5:30 and I wanted to go back to sleep.
